Children’s Church

Children’s Church is held at the 9am service during school term. Each week we read and discuss a story based on the Bible readings for that Sunday. We then enjoy games or craft activities based around the reading. Children’s Church is for children aged from 4-years-old to the end of primary school. Please come and join us for lots of fun!

Knitting Circle

The knitting circle meets on the 3rd Wednesday of the month in the Maheno room at 9.30am, knitting squares that are then joined and made into rugs. These rugs are then given to the residents at aged care facilities to help keep them warm in this cold weather. To date 100 rugs have been delivered. Well done ladies! Anyone wishing to join this lovely group of ladies and do some knitting or crocheting, or anyone wanting to learn to knit or crochet, contact the parish office on (07) 33991508 or office@stjohnsbulimba.org

Cake and Book Stall

A monthly cake and book stall is held in the parish, serving as a major fundraiser for our ongoing ministry. Keep an eye out for notices advertising the next stall. A great many yummy treats are on offer, serving as a delicious morning tea after Sunday breakfast at one of Oxford Street’s many great café’s, or buy one of the many preloved books on our book stall for a relaxing read to have with your purchased home- made treat.
